[Name] Kate Copperfield Female 5'2 red hair, blue eyes [Codename] Flipside [Age] (18) [Powers] Limited teleportation- must come in the form of either a door or something that the normal person could use as a door---ie, a very large doggie-door, or a window, or a car door. Possibly a kitchen-cabinet door in an industrial-sized kitchen, but certainly not something like a cat-carrier door, and so forth. The range is limited; she has just recently come into this ability and has to get a handle on it (pardon the pun). She can draw a door and "open" that to another place. She has to have been to the place she's teleporting to; so if she opens her closet door and steps through, she can end up in the downstairs kitchen or the lavatory of the nearby McDonald's restaurant, but NOT in Dr. Doom's basement broom closet (unless she has, for some reason, been there before). To clarify: physically been there. Not "in a dream", not "Seen that door on video", not "take 20 and have it described to her in detail"....she has to have physcially been there. Others can go through the doors she opens, but it understandably can be difficult to hold a dimension open for hordes and hordes to go through. Her ability is best explained as the power of a tesseract. A hint of specialized TK enables her to work mechanical locks, and with training, the possibility of computerized cypher locks could be within her grasp. Note that the "specialized TK" is only for the lightest of weights, and only with things classified as 'locks'. A deadbolt. A chain. A zipper. And so on. [Personality] Strengths: Like all teens, she has her moments of clarity when things make utter and perfect sense. Rarely is this with schoolwork. However, like most girls of her age, there is the unsullied strength of hope, and a strong network of morals given through her parent's firm and loving teachings. One of her biggest strengths lies in the fact that her parents love and care for her, and are but a phone call away for support. This gives her confidence and peace of mind. She is also a roleplayer, which gives her some possible insights that may not be available otherwise. As with all teens, she's had her rebellious streaks; shoplifted candy and a cheap ring, but avoided a police record through ritual humiliation at the hands of her mother and the shopkeeper. She's lied to her parents and friends, and somehow managed to come through with relationship intact. She's kissed boys and even gone as far as second base (parents blissfully ignorant---or so she tells herself). She's seen some things on the 'net that have made her blink...and go back to look at again, and wonder. She is by no means ignorant or naiive in context...but she thinks herself far more worldly than she actually is. She's never killed anything larger than a june bug. She's never actually shouted at anyone before, nor has she gotten into any physical fights. There is a lot of growing yet to do, and in the smallest way, she somehow realizes this. Like most teenage girls, though, she would die before admitting it aloud. And like most people, her strengths are also her weaknesses, and vice versa.
